ICR seeks invitations to host future conferences. ICR’s annual conference is held in a different country each year to increase possibilities for participation of members throughout the world. ICR seeks invitations to host the 2015 and 2017 annual conferences (the ICR annual conference for 2016 will be held in conjunction with the ICOM General Conference in Milan, Italy). If you are interested in hosting an annual conference, please submit a brief letter of invitation with proposed location, dates and suggested themes to Rune Holbek by 15 October 2014 for consideration at ICR’s 2014 Annual Conference in Taiwan. ICR is committed to meeting in different geographic regions. Proposals endorsed by the relevant ICOM National Committee and involving multiple local/regional partners will receive preference.

ICR is also committed to free and unhindered participation at its conferences. We therefore insist that no legal or other barriers are applied by the Government of a prospective host Country to stop any member of ICOM or ICR from attending the meeting (see ICR Statutes, Article 8 B).
